My initial plans for sharing the journal of my voyage down the Columbia River included sharing a Photos album and an iCloud folder. But as I worked through the setup it quickly became obvious the simple answer was too cumbersome to be practical and were scrapped in favor of this blog at JOEMIKEB.ONLINE.
THE ADVANTAGES:
My interface will be the same on all my devices
Still and video images (maybe even audio?) can easily be embedded in the journal entries
You will have the ability to comment on any posts in my journal and your comments will be seen by anyone viewing the site (I am still looking into private posts).
THE DISADVANTAGES:
The internet is NOT a private forum and although we will not be subjected to targeted advertising we need to be cautious in disclosing personal information.
I am on a learning curve, so things may be somewhat fluid -- especially in the beginning.
