Working Off Nervous Energy

Three days to go!

I wouldn't say I am anxious about the cruise, but between bouts with the IRS over misapplied income tax payments and the Archer County Tax Assessor over unapplied property tax payments, and multiple routine medical appointments,

I produced

  • Gallons of wood shavings, sawdust, and steel dust.

  • A box full of discarded gimmick tools I no longer want, because I can do a better job, faster using old fashioned gouges, scrapers, cutoff tools, and skews.

  • and these turnings and more

I have

  • gone over my packing list dozens of times,

  • rethought my clothing strategy more often than the packing list,

  • learned to lock the door on the new walk-in whirlpool BEFORE filling it (that is another story for another blog post).

  • and learned that the online tools for creating this blog have far more options than the on-computer app that created it in the first place. I was beginning to believe my plan was not going to work until I made that discovery. But. now I know it is going to work, better than I had originally hoped.

Loved reading this! I especially like the first turned piece. I think it’s for mashing? And the color contrast is beautiful!
